Rajnikanth is sporting his classic shades and a scarf all smiling. You can see Thalaiva entering a church holding a candelabra with lit candles and there are flying papers and broken pews.
Ever since young director Karthik Subbaraj announced that he’ll be collaborating with Rajinikanth in his next, all eyes have been on the project.
Apart from big names as a star cast including Bobby Simha, Vijay Sethupathi, Simran, Trisha, there’s also Nawazuddin Siddiqui from Bollywood who’ll be making his Tamil debut with the movie.
Filmmaker Subbaraj recently shared, “Even though I’ve made four films in my career so far, my fascination for films grew because of Superstar Rajinikanth sir. To direct him is the best moment of my life.”
Apart from Petta, Rajnikanth has a major release produced by Dharma productions, 2.0 which also stars Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson. There’s Sudhanshu Pandey, Adil Hussain, and Kalabhavan Shajohn also playing important roles.
